Redmi 1S USB Mass storage mode

Question: I wanted to know how to access USB mass storage mode in Redmi 1S device. I have MIUI v5 with version MIUI-JHCMIBF36.0 I have tried other options like making shortcut to access USB Connection settings but that includes only MTP & PTP mode.

OK, Im having Windows XP, which do not support MTP mode bydefault. ( So i installed Windows Media Player latest version, MTP works like charm!!!)

Redmi 1S heating issue

Many users in India felt that their Redmi 1S gets very hot (sometimes above 45C), particularly in warmer areas of the country. Some users in India have pointed out that background apps are sometimes getting killed more aggressively than they would expect (for example, music player stopping while user is playing a 3D game).

Today MI has released an over-the-air system update (v45) for the Redmi 1S. This release expected to fix above issues.

Go to Settings > About Phone > click on System updates
