Mhada flats Refund of Earnest Money Deposit after the Lottery
Does Mhada will refund of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) after the Lottery?
yes. If the Applicant fails to succeed in the lottery then full amount of EMD is returned.
In case the applicant withdrew the application before the drawal of lottery then 25 % from the amount of the EMD is deducted by the accounts department of Mumbai Board towards the administrative expenses and remaining amount is returned to the candidate.
The candidates selected in lottery
a) If the candidate delays to accept the allotted tenement or delays in paying the required amount
b) If the candidates delays in taking possession of the tenement in specified period or
c) After taking the possession of the allotted tenement , delays or refuses to be member of housing society, then his/her membership is deemed to be cancelled. His/her name will be deleted from the 'manyta' list as per the act.

When and what documents are required to be submitted to get the allotment of the flat.?

Mhada form lottery draw result
"We expect to open draws by the end of May. We recommended to the state housing authorities that if allotments are delayed, all depositors must be given interest at bank rates.
HDFC will do the securitisation of applications and other documents and submit us the computerised data before the end of May.
The board will open the draw on May 31."

Mhada extends form submission date
The Maharashtra Housing & Area Development Authority (Mhada) on Friday decided to extend the last date to submit of applications to February 11.
The decision was taken at a meeting attended by Mhada's board members and senior officials of HDFC Bank, said Amarjeet Singh Manhas, chairman, Mhada's Mumbai board.

MHADA Form 2008 Application Forms For MHADA Flats
The Mumbai Housing Area Development Authority or MHADA has announced new project in Mumbai and adjacent areas. Under this new scheme of MHADA, flats for the Economical Weaker Group (EWS), Lower Income Group (LIG), Middle Income Group (MIG) and High Income Group (LIG) will be constructed.
The MHADA flats are always in low rats as compare current real estate markets rates.
This year MHADA has 3,863 homes to offer. These flats are located at Versova, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Pratiksha Nagar, Dahishar and other such locations within the periphery of Mumbai.
Deposit money are -
1. Rs 10,000 for EWS
2. Rs 15,000 for LIG
3. Rs 25,000 for MIG
4. Rs 50,000 for HIG.
